Finding Incredible Edibles

Brenda, our instructor, will show you the wild plant foods growing around the Lost Province campus. You'll start in the classroom for some key information, then head outside to find edible plants right by the building. After a short hike away from the parking lot, you'll gather more plants. She'll point out any dangerous look alikes. Back in the kitchen, you'll add your finds to a salad, make tea, and enjoy baked goodies. You'll also review what was learned, and you can take labeled photos of the plants. You'll also receive an emailed comprehensive plant database that includes their health benefits.
